

The Magic circle is fantastic for adding resistance and challenge to your workouts. There really is not a suitable alternative that could be used with household objects, so I do recommend you get one if you are happy to commit to regular Pilates. This one is both cheap and great quality, you can see it in action in my videos.


Resistance bands are a great prop for enhancing flexibility, for exercises where you need more controlled movements, and for adding resistance and strength. The ones I have linked from Amazon come in a variety of strengths, so you can pick accordingly to your goals and current fitness level. You dont need the expensive ones.


I recommend getting yourselves a pair of light hand weights (anything between 1kg-3kg max) because they really do allow for strengthening and body toning. Again they are inexpensive and definitely worth the small investment. See them in action in my weight videos.


I highly recommend the mat I have linked as it is thicker than a standard yoga mat, this will be helpful when we are in relaxation position and when lying on your front. Yoga mats can be somewhat uncomfortable, particularly if you are practising on a hard floor! Some mats are very expensive and no need to purchase those brands.


A Pilates ball is a fantastic piece of equipment which allows you to challenge your balance, core stability, add extra resistance making exercises harder and more! And they are not expensive at all! I regularly use a Pilates ball in my classes, and I really recommend you purchase the one I am linking below from Amazon. See in action in my videos.


I recommend purchasing a Pilates loop, especially for lower body exercises. They really do add challenge to leg and booty workouts and are fantastic if you are looking to tone your body! Like the resistance band above, you can pick the strength according to your goals!


I have used a Fitbit watch for many years and have found it to be so useful for me on my personal fitness journey. A fitbit tracks your sleep, calories burned in a day, your heart rate and daily steps! Fantastic if you are on either a weight loss journey, or if you are just wanting to track your expenditure for general fitness and maintenance. Plus a fitbit lasts years with no issues! Worth the investment for your health and fitness.


A good pair of grip socks can make a huge difference for stability, comfort and safety during workouts. These socks are perfect, non slip soles, a snug but breathable fit, and arch support for added comfort.
